As a member of this team, you will be responsible for:
Supporting the Associate Director, Stakeholder Relations, with daily tasks related to the planning and implementation of stakeholder meetings and events.
Assisting the stakeholder relations team with the preparation of high quality, impactful briefing materials and presentations for OMERS senior leadership.
Monitoring the full range of internal and extremal events and announcements that are relevant to OMERS.
Providing excellent customer service to sponsors, stakeholders, and internal partners.
Ensuring smooth event operations by assisting in logistical coordination and problem-solving.
Taking on additional tasks assigned as assigned to ensure successful meeting and event implementation.
Working collaboratively with colleagues across the OMERS organization.
To succeed in this role, you have:
Currently pursuing a diploma/degree in Public Affairs/Policy, Communications, Political Science, or other related degree.
Superior interpersonal, time management and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
High integrity and discretion to ensure the confidentiality of sensitive information
Able to work independently with minimal direction and as part of a team in an environment with competing priorities and deadlines
Ability to exercise good judgement and take initiative
Proficient in MS Office such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint

The expected salary range for this position is $44,850.00 - $56,550.00 per year, prorated based on the term of the contract.
You may also be eligible to receive an annual Incentive Award pursuant to our Short-term Incentive plan and our Long-Term Incentive plan (if applicable), and to participate in our group benefits and retirement plans – details on these elements of compensation are included within OMERS & Oxford offer letters.
