Job Summary:

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Student Nurse I (SNAP) for our 4SE TCU Cardiac/Telemetry Step Down Unit located within the Florence Hospital.

Student Nurse I (SNAP), 4SE TCU Cardiac/Telemetry – 32 Bed Units

Shift/Hours: PRN – 7A-7P, 12 hours/week

The Student Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care activities under the direction of a RN or LPN.  

  • Assists patients with activities of daily living. 

  • Provides for personal care & comfort. 

  • Assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment for an assigned group of patients. 

Qualifications  

Education, Credentials, Licenses:  

  • High School diploma or GED 

  • Currently enrolled in good standing at an accredited nursing program 

  • Successful completion of first clinical rotation in an accredited nursing program  

  • Minimum 2.75 GPA 

  • Not listed on Kentucky or Indiana Abuse Registry 

Specialized Knowledge:   

  • Basic math skills 

  • Basic computer knowledge 

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
