Position Scope:
This role offers hands-on experience in financial technology, data analysis, and process optimization within a dynamic corporate environment. The successful candidate will support system operations, assist with projects, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. In delivering on our pension promise, keeping us connected to our work and each other, our flexible hybrid work guideline requires teams to come into the office 4 days per week. This position provides opportunities to collaborate with Corporate Finance colleagues and other Finance and technology professionals across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with enhancing day-to-day operations of financial systems (e.g., Oracle Financials), including troubleshooting and issue escalation.
Support key process workshops and stakeholder discussions, including preparation of materials, and documenting outcomes.
Assist in documenting and analyzing business processes, with a focus on identifying opportunities for AI, automation, and streamlined data flows.
Contribute to building and testing AI-driven solutions, including assisting with the development of agents across applications such as Microsoft 365 (e.g., Copilot) and Oracle Cloud.
Support the evolution of the Anaplan platform, including testing support and providing status updates and reporting on progress.
Develop recommendations and prepare presentations to communicate project insights, risks, and opportunities.
Provide program management support for large initiatives including tracking tasks, updating project plans, and monitoring risks and dependencies.
Contribute to Corporate Finance automation initiatives, including KPI automation and workflow enhancements.
Participate in other activities as needed, based on team priorities and opportunities that arise.
Qualifications:
Enrolled in a post-secondary program in Business, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields
Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A self-starter, proactive and motivated to create positive change
Strong PowerPoint and Storyboarding skills
Proficiency in MS Office tools (Copilot, Teams, Outlook, Excel); familiarity with financial systems (Oracle, Anaplan) is an asset
Bonus Experience:
Experience in project delivery
Exposure to AI concepts, data analytics or process automation
Understanding business processes (financial reporting, accounts payable, intercompany, financial planning & analysis)

The expected salary range for this position is $44,850.00 - $56,550.00 per year, prorated based on the term of the contract.
You may also be eligible to receive an annual Incentive Award pursuant to our Short-term Incentive plan and our Long-Term Incentive plan (if applicable), and to participate in our group benefits and retirement plans – details on these elements of compensation are included within OMERS & Oxford offer letters.
