Student Engagement-ROTC Coordinator Assistant (FWS/NFWS)

Position Summary/Purpose:

Position serves as a ROTC program liaison. Responsible for all aspects related to ROTC inquiries, ROTC event scheduling and logistics, and campus touring as needed. Point person for program questions and calendar conflicts.

Primary Responsibilities /Accountabilities/ Essential Functions:

1. Serve as the program coordinator for the ROTC program serving Students and the ROTC faculty.  Respond to inquiries about the program.

2. Serve as informational resource for the ROTC office; field questions via telephone or in person concerning ROTC and conduct campus tours for new and prospective ROTC students. 

3. Create and maintain ROTC calendar for students whose ROTC activities fall outside their academic program but are required to graduate fulfilling the ROTC requirements.

4. Plan and execute logistics in regard to ROTC activities. 

5. Manage ROTC business in absence of ROTC cadre.  Manage budget allotted to the ROTC program. 

6. Other duties as assigned.

  • MS Office Suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Experience/  Education

  • Associates Degree, or equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years work experience with coordinating armed services/ ROTC events
  • Must be able to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Must be able to pass pre employment background check.

Pay Rate: Minimum Wage
