We are looking for a highly motivated co-op student to join our Corporate Finance team in Toronto – part of a world-class, winning culture that prioritizes people development and focuses on long-term growth. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure across OMERS and experience in FP&A, business partnership, financial systems, and process excellence and/or automation. You will be supporting the Corporate and Enterprise Financial Planning & Analysis teams and reporting to the Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis.
Please note this is an 8-month co-op position.
As a member of this team, you will be responsible for:
Assisting with the planning and preparation of materials for the annual Operating Plan
Assisting with preparing budget to actual variance reports, presentations, and other financial analysis/reporting
Collaborating on projects to improve existing processes and enhancing our financial systems
Researching benchmarks, market industry trends, and performance indicators
Contributing to ad hoc assignments and special projects as required
To succeed in this role, you have:
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate business program, specializing in Accounting or Finance
Strong interest in pursuing a career in Corporate Finance
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Analytical, organized, and great attention to detail
Involvements demonstrating leadership and collaboration
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
Experience with data visualization (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau) or automating processes is a plus

The expected salary range for this position is $44,850.00 - $56,550.00 per year, prorated based on the term of the contract.
You may also be eligible to receive an annual Incentive Award pursuant to our Short-term Incentive plan and our Long-Term Incentive plan (if applicable), and to participate in our group benefits and retirement plans – details on these elements of compensation are included within OMERS & Oxford offer letters.
