We are looking for a motivated and talented student assistants to join our Analysis and Business Intelligence team in Commercial Finance that would like to play a key role in delivering critical business performance insights. The diverse team you will join consists of five colleagues including the Head of Analysis and BI to whom you will report.
As a team, we are responsible for the suite of daily reporting via Power BI, analysing and forecasting revenue, supporting the CFO and senior management with data and insights, the cost allocation framework and general support in commercial decisions e.g. via Business Cases. In short, we play an important part in ensuring that there are consistent, timely and high-quality data, reports and insights available for our stakeholders and the business in general to make informed decisions upon.
As a student in Commercial Finance, you will be a part of the foundational work in living up to the responsibilities that we have, and gradually, as you grow and learn, you will get specific areas of responsibility that are your own.
Responsibilities
As a student assistant in Commercial Finance BI your responsibilities will typically include:
Enhance the reporting suite to support data driven decisions
Controlling and maintenance of our Power BI Reports
Data extracts and ad hoc analysis
Assist colleagues in developing our general data-framework, e.g. working with our semantic models
Your Profile
You are eager to learn, attentive to detail and want to contribute to the team
You have an interest in working in the intersection between people, business and data
You have experience with Excel and Power BI, preferably at an advanced level
Knowledge of DAX, SQL, M is an advantage
You can manage multiple tasks at the same time and is motivated by talking to colleagues across the organisation
You enjoy working in an international and fast-paced agile environment, where constant learning is part of every day
You are fluent in English – both written and verbal
You thrive on finding intelligent and automated solutions
We welcome applications from students at both Bachelor’s and Master’s level, but prefer that you have 1-2 years left before your graduation.
Ideally, you are currently pursuing studies that gives you a solid mathematical foundation for example economics or engineering.
Keep in mind that you do not have to meet every qualification. If you bring the right drive and mindset, we can develop those skills together!
