• Pay: from $44.69 (HEW 2) per hour (including casual loading) + 12% super
• Location: Vibrant on-campus location in North Ryde, close to public transport

Macquarie University is seeking enthusiastic and energetic current students to join our dynamic Student Belonging Activator team! This role offers the chance to make a real impact by welcoming new students and fostering a vibrant campus environment, all while developing valuable skills for your future career 

 

What will you do? 

As a Student Belonging Activator, you’ll be the face and spirit of student belonging at Macquarie. Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Running vibrant on-campus engagement initiatives including MQ Food Hub, Destress for Success, Mindful May and Kickstart Week. 

  • Welcoming and supporting new and continuing students through activations, events, and outreach. 

  • Connecting with students through calling campaigns and peer-to-peer conversations to share helpful services, tips and support. 

  • Offering wayfinding assistance to students to make campus feel more familiar and accessible. 

  • Providing feedback to improve student initiatives and contribute to a culture of inclusion, fun and innovation. 

  • Collaborating with a passionate team while developing skills in leadership, communication and event delivery.
