We are growing our team in Saxo’s Group Internal Audit (“GIA”) and therefore we are looking for more great colleagues to join us!

GIA in Saxo is responsible for carrying out risk-based audits across the organisation and its subsidiaries. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, GIA helps to ensure that the organisation effectively manages and mitigates the risks associated with its business activities.

We are looking for a motivated and structured student assistant to join our GIA Operating Office. GIA Operating Office is responsible for the operational excellence of GIA by equipping the auditors in GIA with necessary methodology, training and tooling, ensuring the quality of the audit work and report, and driving various projects within GIA.

As a student assistant, you will be working in close collaboration not just within the Operating Office, but with the entire GIA. Responsibilities

As a student assistant in GIA Operating Office, your responsibilities will typically include:

  • Collecting feedback and implementing changes in methodology
  • Supporting internal projects, e.g. quality assessment
  • Conducting data analytics, e.g. establishing PowerBI Dashboard for monitoring
  • Establishing and maintaining internal tools
  • Preparation of presentations
  • Supporting audit engagements within GIA

Your profile

You are preferably in the last year of your Bachelor’s degree or studying for your Master’s degree within the fields of Finance, Economics, Law or other relevant background and hold excellent academic results.

As a person you are known for your professionalism, integrity and trustworthiness. You are collaborative by nature but, where necessary, you are willing to challenge the status quo in a constructive manner. While you are detail oriented, you are able to see through complexity and summarise issues in a structured, clear and concise manner.

You have a good understanding of financial markets and a technical skillset that includes data analytics and Microsoft Office Suite.

You enjoy working in an international, cross-cultural environment and interacting with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences. You have good communication skills and are fluent in English.
