Responsibilities / Tasks
You must have a flair for finding and writing compelling stories. GEA’s intranet is one of our most important internal communication channels and one of the core tasks of our new Editorial Assistant will be to develop content for it. This could be in the form of articles, videos, voxpops, profile interviews and more. You will contribute to organizing GEA’s employee recognition awards, from the nomination phase to the organization of the awards ceremony.
You will also help the team with routine tasks, such as updating content on the intranet, sending monthly news updates, editing videos, and supporting the team as needed.
Depending on your skills and interests, you will be part of larger projects related to the further development of GEA’s communication strategy to the extent that your studies allow it.
Primary tasks:
Develop written and visual content for GEA’s internal channels like the global intranet Connect or our social intranet Viva Engage
Assist the Internal Communications & Corporate Events Team with ad hoc tasks
Your Profile / Qualifications
It’s an advantage if you’re already familiar with SharePoint, but as training will be provided, it’s not a must. However, you must be passionate about online communication, and we expect that you’re a skilled communicator with great attention to detail. You’re also self-driven, service minded and responsible.
We expect you to work at our office in Soeborg two days (10-15 hours) per week. We offer flexible working conditions where you’ll plan your own work schedule with your manager. Your study and exams will of course be taken into consideration.
Candidate profile:
Excellent written and spoken English
Strong interpersonal skills and comfortable working with colleagues spread around the globe
Video editing skills will be considered a plus
Experience with SharePoint will be considered a plus
Responsible, self-driven and service minded
Experienced MS Office user
