The BFA Design & Technology Program seeks to hire several Student Assistants to assist with the organization, cataloging, and maintenance of technology/hardware/tools, in order to facilitate better access for students and to prepare for our end-of-year events. Attention to detail, knowledge of technology & hardware, and experience using tools (such as assembling furniture) are preferred skills. These student workers will report to Jesse Harding.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify and test computer hardware.
Maintain a catalog of our tech inventory.
Reorganize storage.
Assemble furniture.
Sort and organize cables.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Provide a bulleted list of the minimum qualifications that are necessary for someone to be considered for the position. All qualifications must comply with applicable state and Federal legislation. Acceptable qualifications include:
Familiarity with D12 and the BFA Design & Technology Program
Proficient with tools
Demonstrated attention to detail
Knowledge of spreadsheet formula use
WORK MODE
On-Campus Position - Employees in this position are expected to work on-campus during regularly scheduled work hours due to the nature of the work being that which is not feasible, or not in the best interest of the organization, to be performed remotely. #LI-DNI

Responsibilities:
The Student Assistant(s) will assist in the overhaul of BFADT’s inventory of technology by testing, sorting, organizing, and cataloging all of the hardware and tools that are maintained for student use. Additionally, the Student Assistant(s) will assist in assembling furniture to facilitate end-of-year activities.
