Role Overview

We’re building something exciting in Kraków — a new Integrated Delivery Center (IDC) focused on delivering world-class Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CS&A) engineering solutions. 

We're looking for a Structural Engineering Senior Supervisor. This is your chance to work on some of the world’s most exciting nuclear and energy projects; from Small and Advanced Modular Reactor technologies to renewable energy and high-energy industrial projects.

About the Role 

The Structural Engineering Senior Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of structural engineers to deliver high-quality design solutions for major infrastructure and energy projects. This leadership role combines technical oversight, team development, and cross-functional coordination to ensure compliance with standards, timely delivery, and operational excellence.

As a Senior Supervisor, you will coordinate and supervise the daily activities of a small team of professionals, set priorities, and ensure task completion. You will apply your technical expertise to solve problems, provide guidance, and contribute to resource planning and policy development. 
This position requires strong leadership, technical depth, and the ability to collaborate across disciplines.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise and mentor a team of structural engineers, providing coaching, performance feedback, and professional development.

  • Coordinate work activities with other supervisors and project managers to ensure alignment and timely delivery.

  • Set priorities for the team and manage workload to meet project objectives.

  • Provide technical guidance and oversight on structural engineering deliverables, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

  • Review and validate engineering calculations, design reports, and technical documentation.

  • Apply acquired expertise to analyse and solve complex engineering problems without clear precedent.

  • Support resource planning, contribute to policy development, and complete employee performance evaluations.

  • Recommend pay actions and manage team performance in line with organizational standards.

  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure design solutions meet project requirements.

  • Drive continuous improvement in engineering practices, tools, and processes.

Core Competencies

  • Leadership & Team Development: Proven ability to supervise and coach engineering teams.

  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles, reinforced concrete and steel design, and regulatory compliance.

  • Problem Solving: Ability to resolve complex technical issues using sound judgment and expertise.

  • Collaboration: Skilled in working across disciplines and international teams.

  • Communication: Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Quality & Accuracy: High attention to detail and commitment to engineering excellence.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Structural Engineering (BEng or MEng).

  • Chartered or near Chartered Engineer status with a relevant professional body (support provided).

  • Extensive experience in structural engineering roles, including supervisory responsibilities.

  • Experience in highly regulated industries (nuclear, energy, or similar) is an advantage.

  • Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., STAAD, Tekla, TEDDS, Robot Structural Analysis).

  • Knowledge of BIM packages and seismic design requirements is a plus.

  • Fluent spoken and written English (B2 level or higher).
