THE ROLE: 

Join the Genius team powering fan engagement with smart ads, AI-driven broadcasts, epic stats, and gamified experiences.

Join our team as a Streaming Technical Support Specialist and help deliver seamless, high-quality live sports experiences to fans worldwide. You’ll play a crucial role in configuring, optimizing, and maintaining the streaming infrastructure that powers GeniusLive and third-party broadcasts, ensuring reliability, automation, and continuous improvement across our global streaming operations.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Configure, optimize, and maintain streaming setups for GeniusLive and external providers
• Build templates and propose automations to improve efficiency and streamline workflows
• Manage API integrations and develop alerting and logging rules to ensure streaming reliability
• Maintain and expand the Knowledge Base with up-to-date documentation and recurring technical solutions
• Train and mentor team members on streaming technologies, tools, and best practices
• Identify operational and skill gaps, and lead improvement initiatives through training and automation
• Collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders to translate technical updates into clear, actionable information

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

• Strong knowledge of video streaming technologies, including codecs, bitrate, resolution, and protocols
• Experience with API concepts and integrations, and familiarity with JSON and XML formats
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize dynamically
• Understanding of operational monitoring and alerting systems
• Self-motivated and proactive, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• A continuous improvement mindset and passion for technical excellence

IT WILL BE A BONUS IF YOU HAD

• Experience with tools such as Graylog, AWS, Grafana, or Elecard
• Exposure to live broadcasting or multimedia systems
• Basic scripting knowledge in Python or JavaScript
