We have an exciting hybrid work opportunity for a Strategy Specialist!

The Strategy Specialist will be responsible for providing analytical solutions to support business intelligence gathering and ensure business growth. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, customer-focused, and has experience in data analysis, market research, project management, and is skilled in communicating complex ideas effectively to stakeholders at all levels.

Experience & Qualifications

What You Will do:

  • Conduct complex analysis of data and develop actionable insights for business opportunities and challenges
  • Provide research and analysis to support the development of business strategy, including market trends, competitor analysis, and internal capabilities assessment to inform strategic decision making
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time
  • Partner with stakeholders to develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure business performance
  • Prepare presentations for use with senior leadership to communicate project updates, findings, and recommendations
  • Generate reports and visualizations to effectively communicate insights and findings for use by the highest levels of the Corporation and Company
  • Assist in the development and implementation of multi-year enterprise strategic plan
  • Create financial models and forecasts to evaluate potential strategic initiatives
  • Track and report on progress towards strategic goals

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Operations, Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of experience in strategy, consulting, business development, or market analysis (aerospace/defense sector preferred); OR an Advanced degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Operations, Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of experience in strategy, consulting, business development, or market analysis (aerospace/defense sector preferred)
  • US Citizenship required, due to programs

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and SharePoint/Teams
  • Experience with statistical analysis software and financial modeling
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Graphics editing and web design experience is a plus

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
