Position Description:

The Strategy & Insights Analyst, Proprietary Brands, is a critical contributor to the newly formed Proprietary Brands organization. This role supports strategic initiatives across product development, sourcing, market expansion, and brand performance. Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, Proprietary Brands. The analyst will work cross-functionally to deliver high-impact insights, develop strategic recommendations, and support decision-making through financial and business analysis. This is a high-visibility role ideal for a versatile, analytically driven professional with a passion for strategy, product innovation, and commercial growth.


Key Responsibilities

  • The Strategy & Insights Analyst, Proprietary Brands, is a critical contributor to the newly formed Proprietary Brands organization. The analyst will work cross-functionally to deliver high-impact insights, develop strategic recommendations, and support decision-making through financial and business analysis.   • Conduct market, competitive, and customer analysis to inform brand strategy and product launches.
  • Evaluate RFPs and business cases for new market and new product entry, including financial modeling and scenario planning.
  • Support strategic planning cycles and roadmap development for proprietary brands.
  • Build and interpret financial models including NPV, ROI, and high-level P&Ls.
  • Partner with Finance and Commercial teams to assess product performance, pricing strategies, and investment opportunities.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on financial and operational data.
  • Work closely with Product, Sourcing, Marketing, and Sales teams to align on strategic priorities.
  • Support product launch planning and execution with data-driven insights and performance tracking.
  • Assist in vendor evaluation and sourcing strategy through analytical support.
  • Identify opportunities for brand differentiation and growth through data and trend analysis.
  • Contribute to the development of new programs and initiatives that enhance customer engagement and brand value.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5 years of related experience preferred
