Summary
In this role, you will mainly support M&A in strategy definition, deal analysis and transaction execution. You will play a key role in analysing, modelling, due diligence coordination, and project management, ensuring timely reporting and alignment with executive stakeholders. The position offers broad exposure to high-impact initiatives and different stakeholders in Advario, requiring strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
Major duties/responsibilities
M&A Associate Core Responsibilities:
Support end-to-end M&A transaction processes, including target screening, financial valuation, due diligence, deal execution, and integration planning.
Build and maintain financial models for target evaluation, including DCF, comparable company analysis, and merger consequences modeling
Support due diligence processes by coordinating data requests, analysing financial information, and preparing summary findings
Conduct comprehensive market research, competitor analysis, and industry benchmarking to support strategic decision-making.
Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams (Legal, Finance, HR, Operations, IT, etc.) to gather and analyse data relevant to ongoing and prospective transactions.
Prepare executive-level presentations, reports, and investment memos for internal and external stakeholders.
Monitor and track deal pipeline activities, providing regular updates to the Strategy and M&A leadership team.
Assist in post-merger integration efforts by coordinating with internal teams and tracking progress against integration milestones.
General:
Contribute to continuous improvement of M&A and PMO processes, templates, and best practices.
Ensure high-quality work output, attention to detail, and effective stakeholder communication.
Perform other duties as required to support the Strategy and M&A function
Your profile
3-5 years of relevant work experience in M&A and structured finance, investment banking, corporate development, management consulting, or related fields.
Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational and project coordination capabilities, with some experience in PMO or project reporting considered a plus.
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with experience interacting with cross-functional teams and senior management.
Master’s degree in business administration, economics, a technical degree or a related discipline.
Highly motivated, self-starting, detail-oriented, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
