Role Purpose:
To partner and act as a high impact strategic partner and “right-hand” for the Chief Executive Officer by translating the banks strategic vision into executable operational initiatives and deliverables; driving cross-functional business development, forging and deepening high-value internal and external relationships, to support the delivering of enterprise-wide solutions that accelerate revenue, optimize operations, and strengthen competitive positioning in the financial services sector.
Are you someone who can:
- Act as the CEO trusted proxy in high‑level internal and external engagements.
- Coordinate the annual business planning process, including preparation of strategic briefs, presentations, and speaking notes for executive and board engagements.
- Maintain and continuously develop the Group’s strategic roadmap in collaboration with senior management, ensuring alignment with Group strategy and actionable workstreams with clear KPIs.
- Drive strategic deliverables, change management, and platform integration across operations.
- Lead or support high‑sensitivity deliverables such as crisis response, turnaround initiatives, and cost optimisation programs.
- Conduct scenario planning and modelling for major operational initiatives, providing concise executive‑level reporting.
- Track delivery of strategic initiatives, ensuring accountability and timely progress reporting.
- Identify and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency and productivity across business areas.
- Drive innovation and adopt industry best practices to ensure continuous improvement.
- Analyse integrated business reports to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare and review strategic communications, Board papers, investor materials, and regulatory submissions.
- Stay abreast of legislative and compliance changes, leveraging insights for operational enhancements.
- Build strong cross‑functional relationships to manage expectations, share knowledge, and create buy‑in for operational initiatives.
- Foster collaboration to achieve synergies and support strategic objectives.
- Serve as a sounding board and thought partner to the CEO on strategic, financial and operational priorities.
- Translate the CEO’s vision into clear, actionable priorities for the finance function and broader enterprise.
- Lead special projects and task forces on behalf of the CEO.
- Keep the relevant executive or manager informed of various activities within and outside the group and manage the day‑to‑day operations of the CEO’s office.
You will be an ideal candidate if you:
- Hold an Honor’s or master’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related fields.
- Have 4- 5 years’ experience in strategy, consulting, or business development.
- Strong strategic, analytical and financial capabilities
- Project management and leadership
- Strong stakeholder management experience at C-suite and board level
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and BI/AI tools
