The Role
The Strategist, Digital will support a GM brand with dashboard development, reporting, and advanced analytics focused on performance and operational metrics at both Brand and Dealer levels. This role partners closely with marketing, digital, and analytics stakeholders to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that enable business decisions. The position plays a key role in understanding brand performance, site behavior, and funnel effectiveness across digital channels. While responding to ad hoc requests, the strategist will also focus on improving efficiency through streamlined data processes and automated reporting solutions.
What You’ll Do
• Partner with cross functional stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate requirements into analytic solutions and reporting deliverables
• Analyze complex data sets and convert insights into clear, business focused narratives that support decision making
• Produce recurring monthly reporting covering brand and site metrics, leads, sales, clickstream data, funnel performance, and trends over time
• Compare performance and behavioral trends across brands, sites, and digital touchpoints to identify opportunities and risks
• Analyze site behavior including mobile versus desktop usage, CTA engagement, heatmaps, clickstream paths, and content engagement
• Support ad hoc analytical requests while identifying opportunities to standardize, automate, and democratize access to data
• Work independently across teams with minimal guidance while managing multiple priorities and deadlines
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
• Bachelor’s degree in Math, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, MIS, or a related quantitative field
• 3+ years of experience in analytics, digital analytics, or data insights roles
• Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and managing large data sets
• Hands on experience with Adobe Analytics for web and digital performance tracking
• Deep understanding of clickstream data and user behavior analysis
• Proven ability to translate highly technical insights into clear, actionable recommendations for non technical audiences
• Strong data storytelling, communication, and presentation skills
• Curiosity, creativity, and a proactive mindset for researching patterns, trends, and optimization opportunities
What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)
• Experience using Python for analytics, automation, or data transformation
• Familiarity with Azure and or Databricks environments for data processing and analysis
