The Opportunity

The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist – SWAT Recruiter is a high-impact, senior-level talent partner who deploys into Elara Caring’s most complex, urgent, and business-critical hiring needs. As part of our Strategic Workforce Acquisition Team (SWAT), you will be trusted to step into hard-to-fill roles, stabilize hiring gaps, and deliver results where speed, strategy, and expertise matter most.

SWAT Recruiters are problem-solvers and change agents—moving across service lines and geographies to support fluctuating workforce demands, priority initiatives, and operational challenges. What You’ll Do

Own the toughest hiring challenges.
You will parachute into high-priority, urgent, and difficult-to-fill requisitions and immediately bring structure, momentum, and results.

Act as a strategic recruiting partner.
Collaborate closely with hiring managers and operational leaders to assess workforce needs, clarify expectations, and align on hiring strategies that work in real-world conditions.

Design and execute custom recruiting strategies.
Go beyond job postings—leveraging creative, data-driven, and non-traditional sourcing approaches to reach active and passive talent.

Source with intention and expertise, including:

  • Professional networking platforms and social media

  • Advanced internet and job board sourcing

  • Cold outreach, referrals, and pipeline development

  • Networking events, job fairs, and campus recruiting

  • Niche advertising and industry-specific channels

Build pipelines that last.
Develop and maintain strong, reusable talent pipelines across service lines and regions.

Serve as a trusted advisor.
Provide hiring leaders with market insights, candidate intelligence, and honest guidance on hiring challenges, timelines, and opportunities.

Stay agile.
Shift seamlessly between service lines and priorities as business needs evolve—without losing momentum.

Protect the candidate experience.
Balance speed with quality while ensuring a positive, transparent, and compliant hiring process.

Use data to drive decisions.
Leverage recruiting metrics to identify obstacles, recommend solutions, and continuously improve outcomes.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in healthcare, high-volume, or multi-site environments

  • Proven success filling hard-to-fill, niche, or urgent roles

  • Advanced sourcing expertise across multiple platforms and channels

  • Strong stakeholder partnership and influence skills

  • Comfort navigating ambiguity, shifting priorities, and tight timelines

  • Data-driven mindset with a continuous improvement approach
