HP Indigo is looking for a Strategic Supplier Account Lead to join our team
The Account Lead acts as the single point of accountability for supplier performance across multiple product lines.
The role is responsible for the end-to-end commercial, operational, and strategic management of a key Contract Manufacturing supplier, ensuring alignment with business, product, and manufacturing strategies.
Key Responsibilities :
Strategic Supplier Ownership - Own the overall relationship with the supplier, including governance, business reviews, performance management, and long-term alignment.
Assurance of Supply & Execution - Ensure reliable material and build availability, monitor delivery KPIs, manage risks (LLI, MOQ, EOL), and act as 2nd-level escalation for supply issues.
Commercial & Cost Management - Lead pricing, cost roadmap, CI/CR initiatives, and negotiations to meet cost targets while supporting product and volume ramp.
PO, Systems & Data Accuracy - Execute and manage POs and GRs, ensure accuracy of pricing, MOQ, lead times, logistics parameters, and standard cost data in QAD.
Supplier Performance & Capacity Management - Drive performance against KPIs (AOS, delivery, business metrics), manage capacity, flexibility, and readiness to support demand changes.
Change, Lifecycle & Risk Management - Manage ECOs, lead time improvements, and EOL events; ensure smooth transitions with minimal business impact.
Contract & Exposure Management - Lead supplier contract activities with Legal (HPPA, SOW, NDA, LOA, exposure agreements).
Sourcing & Business Continuity - Support sourcing decisions, dual-source strategies, and maintain robust BCP covering operational, financial, and geopolitical risks.
Invoice & Commercial Escalations - Serve as 2nd-level escalation for pricing discrepancies and invoice disputes.
Required Experience & Education:
Experience- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role (Account Lead, Supplier Manager, Strategic Sourcing, Big contract manufacturer management).
Education - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial / Mechanical / Electrical or similar) or Business Administration. Advanced degree – advantage.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
Solid understanding of procurement & supply chain value chain
Analytical, data-driven decision making
Ability to manage complex supplier relationships in a matrix, cross-functional environment
Good understanding of contracts and commercial terms
Excellent communication skills in English
