Job Summary:

Reviews, negotiates and executes all assigned supply contracts, service agreements, blanket orders and onetime purchases.  Maintains contracts with internal stakeholders, supplier representatives, sourcing peers and Group Purchasing Organization.  Demonstrates value analysis, expense reduction, and customer service skills while navigating a complex multi-facility sourcing environment. Objective is to ensure best in class industry pricing and contract terms and conditions.  Individual will receive guidance and oversight from director but is expected to exercise critical thinking to bring forth solutions to problems.  

Position Responsibilities:

Manages and negotiates contracts to ensure competitive pricing, price protection, and service levels. Ensure that appropriate authorization, routing of contracts, distribution and document management occurs. Ensure all configuration changes pertaining to new or amended contracts are implemented in a timely and accurate manner.

Develops and introduces better utilization of products and services. Implements suggestions, securing measurable savings.

Initiates, creates, facilitates and manages the bid process for products and services.

Works with internal stakeholders to do market research and strategy development.

Regularly meet with assigned vendors to review contracts, evaluate vendor performance and consider future opportunities.

Reviews and resolves invoice discrepancies and accruals.

Position Qualifications Required:

Required Experience:

 5 years of progressively responsible experience in sourcing or procurement activities, would consider candidates with 2-3 years’ experience and a bachelor’s degree.

Required Education:

High School diploma required.

Bachelor’s Degree preferred. 

Annual Salary: $75,177 - $116,950 The actual salary/rate will vary based on applicant’s experience as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Virtua’s annual incentive compensation plan (AICP). The amount is subject to the terms and conditions of the plan document.
