The Strategic Sourcing Manager (f/m/d) Ultrasound Women's Health plays a critical role in driving cost optimization, supplier development, and operational excellence for GE HealthCare’s Ultrasound Women’s Health business. This position ensures timely delivery of high-quality components and assemblies for
finished medical devices through strategic supplier management and cross-functional collaboration.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead the local Strategy Sourcing Team: Define priorities and coach team members to drive cost-out and supply chain resiliency projects to support growth and profitability of the Ultrasound Women's Health business

  • Project Management: Lead and coordinate projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, and alignment with organizational goals.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a primary contact for internal and external stakeholders, facilitating clear communication and productive partnerships.

  • Negotiation: Drive discussions and negotiations with key suppliers, demonstrating entrepreneurial spirit and strong focus on total cost of ownership.

  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that all activities comply with organizational policies and relevant regulations, proactively identifying and mitigating risks.

  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present regular reports on project status, performance metrics, and key outcomes to executive leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Business or Engineering degree.

  • Extendend & proven experience in Sourcing (Procurement), Engineering or Supply Chain leadership experience including people leadership.

  • Excellent business/financial acumen, proficient in leading and setting direction for teams, including demonstrated ability tomotivate, influence and drive change at all levels of the organization.

  • Working experience with development and production with Medical Devices.

  • Practical experience in balancing and optimizing engineering process rigor with product delivery priorities.

  • Excellent program/project management experience with the ability to develop and execute on integrated program plans.

  • Effective problem solving ability to lead and influence others (cross-functionally and globally).

  • Demonstrate strong execution skills and ability to drive change globally.

  • Fluent in English, German is a plus

  • In Austria we are required to state the minimum pay. For this position, the annual compensation package starts at € 85.000. We will be pleased to discuss the appropriate effective salary based on your qualifications and experience.
