JOB PURPOSE
The Strategic Sourcing Manager – Consumer Products & Business Operations is responsible for leading sourcing and commercial strategies across IT Applications, Software, User & Infrastructure Services, and Telecoms. The role partners closely with global and regional IT stakeholders to develop sourcing strategies, run competitive events, manage supplier relationships, and drive commercial value for Unilever.
The position is accountable for implementing global strategies locally, enabling responsible sourcing, and ensuring compliance with procurement standards and the Code of Business Principles.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead regional and global sourcing initiatives across assigned IT categories, ensuring alignment with business needs and supply market trends.
Develop and execute sourcing strategies, managing the full process from RFI/RFQ to evaluation, negotiation, and contracting.
Deliver savings, cash, and value targets through effective use of procurement methodologies and e‑sourcing tools.
Build strong partnerships with IT, UniOps, and cross‑functional teams (Finance, Legal, Information Security, Architecture) to support informed decision‑making.
Manage supplier identification, onboarding, performance reviews, and continuous improvement activities.
Ensure contracts meet company standards and address performance issues where necessary.
Maintain compliance with procurement policies, processes, and documentation requirements.
Support purchasing automation, catalogue enablement, and preferred supplier initiatives.
Embed sustainability, responsible sourcing, and risk‑management principles into all sourcing decisions.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of Procurement experience, ideally in IT Procurement.
Strong negotiation skills and proven supplier management experience.
Strong stakeholder management skills and influencing skills.
Demonstrated ability to deliver savings and meet commercial targets.
Experience collaborating with cross‑functional stakeholders across multiple geographies.
Strong analytical capability and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Fluent in English
Travel Requirements - occasional domestic or international travel (approx. 3–5 days per year).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Procurement certification (e.g., CIPS), completed or in progress (nice to have)
Experience with sourcing tools such as Coupa, Ariba, and e‑Auctions.
Strong business and IT acumen.
