The Opportunity

We are looking for a Strategic PMO Lead to join our Data, Analytics & Artificial Intelligence organization (DAAI) to drive governance, execution transparency, and cross-functional coordination across the DAAI organization to ensure innovation initiatives are steered in a disciplined, decision-ready, and operationally aligned manner.  The Strategic PMO Lead executes administrative tasks and ensures overall leadership alignment - acting as the operational backbone of the DAAI organization and enabling our strategic program, AI Nexus, to run with clarity, discipline, and speed. You will join our newly created Office of DAAI department.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

Governance & Steering

  • Governance leadership: Run the management drumbeat across the DAAI organization, including core cadences, steering routines, and escalation mechanisms
  • PMO standards: Establish clear governance standards, templates, and reporting logic across the build setup
  • Executive alignment preparation: Prepare decision-ready materials, alignment topics, and recommendation points for senior leadership forums

Execution Transparency & Reporting

  • Management reporting: Ensure concise and reliable (financial) reporting on progress, key risks, decisions required, and overall initiative status for leadership stakeholders
  • Partner with Finance/Controlling to manage DAAI budgets, forecasts, and investment cases
  • Track and report on business value realization, not just delivery milestones
  • Progress transparency: Ensure clear visibility on milestones, critical dependencies, delivery health, and key execution risks

Risk & Issue Management

  • Risk and issue coordination incl. escalation: Identify, structure, and drive resolution of cross-functional risks, issues, and blockers for the DAAI organization

Cross-Functional Coordination & Planning

  • Cross-functional orchestration: align business, product, tech and delivery stakeholders around priorities, actions, and decisions
  • Planning discipline: Maintain integrated plans, track key actions, and ensure follow-through against agreed timelines and commitments
  • Build-to-run coordination: Support readiness tracking and alignment for handover into run where relevant

Your Background:

Education & Experience

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Management, Project Management, or a related field
  • Extensive 8–10+ years of experience in PMO, program management, or governance roles in complex, multinational, cross-functional organizational environments
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development through certifications, conferences, or courses in program management and digital transformation
  • Certification in PMO / portfolio management

Strategic & Technical Acumen

  • Strategic program management: Strong experience in steering complex initiatives with high management attention and cross-functional dependencies
  • Technology fluency: Solid understanding of digital, data, and AI contexts to credibly support coordination in a build environment
  • Governance and drumbeat management: Proven capability to run effective steering cadences, alignment routines, and escalation processes
  • Planning and tracking discipline: Strong capability in milestone tracking, action management, and integrated execution follow-up
  • Risk and issue management: Structured approach to identifying, prioritizing, and resolving execution risks and blockers
  • Structured problem solving: Strong analytical and organizational skills with a pragmatic, outcome-oriented mindset

Leadership & Influence

  • Executive communication: Ability to distill complexity into sharp messages, decision papers, and senior management updates
  • Stakeholder coordination: Strong ability to align senior business and technology stakeholders in dynamic delivery environments
