Strategic Planning Senior Advisor - Remote

Candidates who reside within 50 miles of the following locations may be asked to work in person on a hybrid schedule (three days per week): Bloomfield, CT, Chattanooga, TN, Denver, CO, St Louis, MO, or Scottsdale, AZ.

The role will be part of the Provider Strategy & Advocacy Strategy and Planning team and will play a key role in administration of the Provider Strategy & Planning process for Provider Experience & Operations (PX&O).  This requires partnering with PX&O and Provider & Core Tech Product & Planning leadership in the development and maintenance of the PX&O Future of Provider Roadmap and related portfolio deliverables.

This role will be responsible for the orchestration of the portfolio planning process, including creation and maintenance of key consolidated PX&O Roadmap portfolio deliverables and supporting business strategy leads in creation and compilation of strategy and portfolio deliverables for their respective initiatives. This role will also be responsible for continued evolution of the Wrike Strategy & Planning workflow and related strategy and portfolio submission status reports to provide needed insights to the PX&O leadership team and key Enterprise Portfolio stakeholders. This role requires high levels of influence across business and technology enterprise organizations, extensive business knowledge and innovative problem-solving skills.  This role is expected to serve as a trusted partner and advisor at all levels within the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supporting Provider Specific strategy domains in creation and consolidation of strategy related documents including strategic roadmaps / roadshows and portfolio inventories
  • Responsible for orchestration of the holistic portfolio process for PX&O, coordinating a variety of matrix partners through the deliverables cycle across multiple portfolio funding sources
  • Responsible for on-going maintenance of key consolidated PX&O Portfolio deliverables
    • Provider Portfolio Snapshot summary of key Provider Initiatives
    • Business cases supporting cross-functional initiatives driven by PX&O
    • Portfolio process status insights for Enterprise Portfolio stakeholders
  • Provide guidance to PX&O and PC&T partners in leveraging new Strategy & Planning Tools such as the WEPS: Strategy & Planning workflow and Strategic Backlog
  • Develop new insights to help inform decisions and measure success of Provider Experience & Operations related initiatives in partnership with Value Management and technology partners
  • Enable evolution of the Provider portfolio process in conjunction with evolution of Enterprise Portfolio processes to optimize enterprise value

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required
  • 10+ Years of experience in healthcare strategy and/or business solution architecture/business analysis, including experience in program management
  • Familiarity with Wrike, Pathfinder and Jira preferred
  • High degree of personal accountability, strong resourcefulness, and a goal-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work independently with stakeholders in the PX&O Leadership team and Provider & Core Tech delivery team to obtain information and provide consultative insights
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to apply those skills to a broad range of topics
  • Strong business and system acumen, with proven ability to leverage knowledge base to quickly come up to speed in new business areas and new types of initiatives.
  • Strong detail orientation, organization, and management of matrixed stakeholders through processes with fluid timelines
  • Ability to lead, manage and influence cross-functional teams with demonstrated ability to drive results in fluid and ambiguous situations
  • Process-oriented with quality mindset, strong organization and planning skills
  • Strong collaboration, relationship building and influencing skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and navigate a highly matrixed environment
  • Excellent communication skills – including producing verbal and written communications coupled with excellent presentation skills
  • Some travel may be required (25%)

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 119,600 - 199,300 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
