Avantor is looking for Strategic Marketing Analyst that will perform analysis of data to drive strategic business decisions on all measurable aspects of multimedia direct marketing campaigns to acquire, retain, up-sell, and cross-sell customers. This analyst will also perform data mining and in depth analysis of customer databases. Creates measurements such as response analysis, ROI, campaign dashboard development, etc. to ensure continuous campaign and program improvement.

What we're looking for
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Experience: 7 years experience in web analytics and database marketing
Vendor management experience
Mastery level Excel, Access, Snowflake, and data analysis experience
Strong, demonstrated analytical background
Understanding of search engine optimization and search marketing
An understanding of database and direct marketing techniques, web strategy and design
Proficiency in database queries, data normalization, and other statistical packages preferred. Strong experience with SQL and Python and creating queries in Snowflake.
Proficiency in database queries, data normalization, and other statistical and financial reporting
Proficient in CRM system data, preferably salesforce.com
Understanding of marketing outreach and contact strategies
Excellent organizational skills, self-motivation and creative problem solving skills required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated success in managing multiple concurrent projects, maintain timelines

Performs data mining/in depth analysis of customer database to identify, and makes actionable, key customer segments that can drive value for company.
Creates closed-loop, highly quantitative measurement process to ensure continuous campaign and program improvement (e.g., response analysis, ROI, campaign dashboard development, etc).
Creates control groups within each campaign to measure overall effectiveness of database marketing efforts.
Analyzes, develops, and secures Prospect & Customer files as it relates to circulation, direct marketing & strategic planning.
Supports and reports of quantitative analyses that drive strategic business decisions on all measurable aspects of multimedia direct marketing campaigns to acquire, retain, up-sell, and cross-sell customers.
Identifies marketing opportunities by analyzing customer trends to enhance and create new business and/or programs.
Performs complex queries and list pulls for direct marketing campaigns to prospects and customers. Monitors all campaign list requests to ensure that the appropriate audience segmentations, frequency of communication & other considerations are achieved.
Analyzes campaign performance, effectiveness, and growth and makes recommendations to improve response and ROI.
Oversees development of new and existing processes and audits them to ensure the accuracy of all programming and specific selection logic used to generate multimedia direct marketing campaigns.
Web Analytics: Provides support/direction in factors affecting website visitor behavior, conversion, and customer retention rates.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Pay Transparency:
The expected pre-tax pay for this position is
$102,200.00 - $170,300.00Actual pay may differ depending on relevant factors such as prior experience and geographic location.
