As a Strategic Insight & Analysis Manager at AstraZeneca, you will play a critical role in transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights that guide Oncology Business Unit team and senior leadership teams. This role goes beyond reporting — you will act as a strategic thought partner, enabling evidence-based decision-making, identifying growth opportunities, and supporting long-term business strategy in a dynamic and competitive environment.

Background & Qualifications

  • University degree from a reputable university
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Marketing in a pharmaceutical company
  • Experience in the Oncology Therapeutic Area is essential
  • Strong experience in strategic planning, business performance management, and insight generation
  • Advanced command of written and spoken English​
  • Proven ability to translate complex quantitative and qualitative data into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Solid financial acumen, including forecasting, scenario planning, and business case development
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience working cross-functionally
  • High level of analytical thinking, problem-solving capability, and strategic mindset
  • No restriction to travel frequently and must have a valid driving license
  • No military obligation for male candidates  

Summary of Job Description

  • Drive oncology portfolio strategy with data-driven insights to enable sustainable, profitable growth and competitive positioning.
  • Lead the oncology analytics roadmap across launch/indication expansion, brand health, omnichannel effectiveness, and account/tender dynamics.
  • Build short-, mid-, and long-term strategies using HCP/institution/region segmentation, IQVIA/RWD, and patient flow analyses.
  • Translate insights into executive-ready, actionable recommendations aligned with AZT business plans.
  • Apply predictive modeling, segmentation, trend and scenario analysis; deliver dashboards to speed and improve decisions.
  • Produce reliable account- and region-level forecasts; manage long-range planning and ensure efficient budget use.
  • Orchestrate cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Medical, Market Access, Regulatory, HEOR, and Finance; lead the analytics agenda in brand teams.
  • Engage with global/regional oncology teams to share methodologies, data standards, and best practices.
  • Monitor MoH regulations, AIFD rules, reimbursement and tender changes; develop scenario and impact analyses for stakeholders.
  • Support evidence-based engagement with advisory boards, opinion leaders, and key accounts; integrate outputs into commercial decisions.
  • Ensure full compliance with AZT policies, data privacy, and local/global regulations; role-model ethical standards.
  • Build a high-performance culture; coach and develop oncology analytics capabilities; lead resource and succession planning.
