Job Description 

Join a mission-driven, innovative program that is reshaping the early postpartum experience for families in Jefferson County! We’re looking for a highly organized, relationshipcentered, and curious professional to serve as the connector between our Family Ambassador Board (FAB), our clinical team, and our community partners. In this multifaceted role, you will co-design and co-facilitate FAB meetings, help turn program data into actionable progress, and build strategic partnerships that strengthen our impact on behalf of Jeffco families. 

 

SCHEDULE: 

The work week schedule will be Monday through Friday with hybrid work opportunities to include remote options and four-day work weeks upon approval. Please note: occasional evenings will be required and occasional weekends may be required 

   

COMPENSATION:  

Hiring Range: $72,439.00 – $88,536.56.00 USD Annual 

Compensation will be determined based on education, experience, and skills.

Key Responsibilities 

General Responsibilities 
• Complete assigned tasks and projects within agreed upon timeframes and established workflows. 
• Communicate proactively with direct supervisor and relevant teams when questions, barriers, or risks arise. 
 Demonstrate openness to feedback from direct supervisor, the Family Ambassador Board (FAB), department leadership, and the clinical team—actively listening, following up, and incorporating feedback into work processes. 

Family Ambassador Board (FAB) Responsibilities 
• Fully coordinate and facilitate FAB meetings, including scheduling, agenda design, logistics, accessibility considerations, and timely communications with members. 
• Build and maintain a clear, consistent feedback loop that ensures FAB insights and recommendations move smoothly between the Board and the clinical team/leadership. 
• Manage a small FAB related budget, including tracking expenditures, following approval processes for additional funds, and demonstrating growing ownership and curiosity about budget stewardship. 

Data Responsibilities 
• Manage the documentation system's resource directory, including independently updating information or collaborating with partners and direct supervisor to resolve functionality needs. 
• Pull routine and ad hoc reports, including grant related reporting. 
• Explore, interpret, and discuss data with curiosity—seeking trends, identifying questions, engaging in independent research, and proposing process improvements or small pilots. 
• Independently enter small data sets with accuracy and attention to detail. 

Community Partnership Responsibilities 
• Develop and maintain a clear, repeatable, data informed process for identifying and engaging community partners aligned with program goals. 
 Initiate and document high priority community partner engagements based on identified needs, data insights, and program priorities. 
• Build relationships that reflect trauma informed practice, cultural humility, health equity and collaborative problem solving. 

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor's degree in public health or a related field, such as business, healthcare, community health, disability studies or similar discipline. Masters preferred. 

  • Minimum of 3 years’ related experience. 

  • Note: an equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable. 

 

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

  • Proven field experience in community organizing or a related field. 

  • Ability to work with limited direction and lead and adapt to multiple strategies. 

  • Strategic leadership experience with projects that advance health and community priorities. 

  • Training and knowledge around current initiatives including access and functional needs, accommodations, , community advisory groups and solutions. 

  • Proven ability to build rapport, uncover needs, identify opportunities, overcome obstacles, and gain commitment with internal staff teams as well as external partnerships on the local, state and national level. 

  • Successful tracking of project progress and deliverables, including developing and managing budgets, timelines, analyzing programmatic data and project plans. 

  • Strong problem-solving skills: Ability to address and resolve issues promptly. 

  • Proficiency with Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office tools. 

  • High degree of organization, effective time and resource management, and a self-starter mentality. 

  • Experience in developing and implementing comprehensive community outreach engagement strategies as well as providing expertise through training and guidance to staff and community members on sensitive information and assessing the impact of these initiatives. 

 

Physical Requirements: 

  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time. 

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds. 

  • Ability to physically respond in-person if needed to the Emergency Operations Center in a JCPH or County Emergency. 

  • Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
