Lightspeed is looking for a Strategic Implementation Consultant to play a key role in guiding our high-value, strategic Hospitality clients through a seamless, successful implementation of our POS solutions. If you’re passionate about helping businesses unlock the full power of technology—and love partnering closely with hospitality customers to deliver real impact—this role is for you.

As a Strategic Implementation Consultant, you’ll be the go-to subject matter expert who oversees all the phases of the implementation process for enterprise clients—from outlining project plans to preparing users for go-live—ensuring every step is coordinated, supported, and optimized. You’ll function as a trusted consultant, applying industry best practices and tailoring recommendations to each customer’s unique needs to drive successful outcomes. You’ll also be instrumental in building strong, lasting client relationships—maximizing customer satisfaction and helping clients get the absolute most out of their Lightspeed investment.

You’ll collaborate with Sales, API Integration Specialists, Technical Consultants, Support, and Product teams to make sure our clients’ needs are met quickly and effectively. From pre-sales assessments to post-launch reviews, you'll help define best practices and shape how our largest customers scale their operations with Lightspeed.

The Strategic Implementation team supports Lightspeed’s premium customers—after sales until Operational. Made up of our top performers across Sales, Onboarding, Support, and Customer Success, this team delivers elite service to our most complex, high-profile accounts.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead onboarding for new and existing customers, ensuring a smooth and structured implementation experience
  • Maintain excellent customer satisfaction through onboarding, follow-ups, and hand-offs
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver white-glove service for strategic enterprise accounts
  • Coordinate implementation plans, activities, and documentation for special projects
  • Conduct regular check-ins to ensure clients are live, transactional, and issue-free
  • Scope and recommend technical solutions aligned with customer requirements
  • Support escalated tickets in partnership with Lightspeed Support
  • Manage documentation for product orientations and internal processes
  • Conduct in-person, on-site training, hardware installations and go-live support 
  • Act as a product expert for internal teams, assisting with training and knowledge sharing
  • Stay current with evolving technologies, tools, and workflows
  • Participate in peer reviews and contribute to continuous team improvement

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience in customer-facing roles in a B2B environment
  • Experience in Hospitality
  • Excellent spoken and written Dutch and French
  • Strong presentation and communication skills

Nice to Have

  • Retail, Hospitality, or Food & Beverage experience
  • Knowledge of POS or SaaS platforms
  • Understanding of SaaS customer lifecycle and sales processes
