Why this role is important to us

Bring your outstanding skills in strategic analysis, problem solving, commercial storytelling, and crossfunctional partnership to support the Head of Americas and the Senior Leadership Team on their strategic agenda. This is an exciting opportunity to join the combined SimCorp and Axioma business as it embarks on its next chapter of doubledigit growth as a leading investment platform technology provider.

The Americas—particularly North America—represent the largest growth market for SimCorp and are missioncritical to achieving our ambition to lead the buyside investment management solutions industry. We are investing to accelerate our growth in the region and are now recruiting for a newly established Senior Principal, Commercial Strategy Lead role that will be pivotal in enabling this mission.

This hybrid role blends strategic content creation, commercial strategy execution, clientfacing advisory work, and crossfunctional collaboration. The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of institutional operating models, a sharp commercial mindset, and the ability to translate complex insights into compelling narratives. This role is ideal for someone transitioning from consulting into a highimpact strategic role within a leading product organization.

  • Translate complex technology, operational workflows, and market insights into clear, clientrelevant messaging tailored to diverse buyer personas.

  • Develop scalable frameworks, templates, and messaging playbooks to elevate the consistency and quality of commercial content across the region.

ClientFacing Strategic Advisory

  • Partner with Sales and Client Success teams during live engagements, acting as a strategic advisor to articulate SimCorp’s value and align our solutions to client requirements.

  • Support the development of business cases, strategic plans, and commercial recommendations for executivelevel discussions.

Market, Competitive & Strategic Analysis

  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and internal assessments to provide actionable insights that shape regional commercial strategy.

  • Analyze financial and operational data to evaluate the effectiveness of commercial initiatives and identify opportunities for growth and efficiency.

  • Stay uptodate on industry trends, market shifts, and emerging technologies, providing recommendations for how SimCorp should adapt its strategy.

CrossFunctional Collaboration & Strategic Enablement

  • Collaborate with Solution Engineering, Product, Professional Services, and Finance to ensure messaging accuracy and alignment with evolving client needs.

  • Track and report on the progress of strategic commercial initiatives, ensuring milestones and objectives are met.

  • Identify risks and challenges associated with strategic initiatives and support the development of mitigation plans.

  • Mentor and coach team members on storytelling, presentation structure, and strategic communication.
