Strategic Business Development Lead

We are looking for a talented and motivated candidate for a Strategic Business Development Lead position to join our team based in Warsaw, Poland.

As the Strategic Business Development Lead at IQVIA, you will be responsible for building, managing, and leading engagements for Health System Solutions (HSS) across Poland. You will identify key clients and lead HSS engagements and activities, collaborate with product and implementation teams. Portfolio of HSS products includes: Hospital Information System, health data research platforms, connected care management platforms, data privacy solutions. The role includes government relations and working with NGOs.

Key accountabilities:

  • Client Relationship Development: Develop relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within assigned accounts; seek out and identify new revenue opportunities at existing and potential clients.

  • Client Engagement Ownership: Serve as the primary owner of client engagements with ultimate responsibility for client satisfaction and delivering high levels of quality and added value.

  • Quotation and Proposal Support: Manage quotation and proposal efforts to partners, prospects, and customers.

  • Project Management: Run assessment processes to ensure projects are completed on time, milestones/goals are met, and adhere to approved budgets.

  • Consultative Problem-Solving: Serve as a solutions-based expert, internally and externally

Key requirements:

  • Sales Experience: Preferred candidate will have a min. of 10 years of experience in healthcare technology solutions (HIS experience highly required) sales for both public and private sector, using a consultative sales approach, with strong demonstrated partnering and closing skills.

  • Public Health:  A good understanding of the Polish health system and private health sector, including hospitals, pharmaceutical industry, health insurance, and others; knowledge of healthcare authorities’ infrastructure and agencies.

  • Additional Expertise: Expertise with healthcare authorities’ procurement, enabling growth in software sales via distribution partners and/or understanding of mechanics of European funded projects is of advantage

  • Technology Sales: Experience in selling technology services, software, or hardware, including distribution, corporate resellers, system integrators, and value-added resellers (VARS), partner recruitment, and/or enablement is an asset.

  • Project Management: Successful track record of managing (planning and delivery) complex, interdisciplinary projects.

  • Judgment and Decision-Making: Demonstrates excellent judgment and decision-making skills.

  • Independence: Performs work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Language Skills: Fluent in English and Polish is mandatory.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is 210 300,00 zł - 446 900,00 zł. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
