Job Title:
Strategic Analysis Associate - Electronics
Summary:
This position will be responsible for supporting global business leader and global marketing director by delivering high-quality market intelligence, strategic analyses, and executive-ready presentations. This role combines macro-to-micro market research (economic trends, regional dynamics, industry segmentation) with structured business operations support (monthly CEO/leadership reporting, meeting coordination, and stakeholder alignment).
This position will report directly to the Global Business Leader and dotted report to Global Marketing Director of the Electronics Materials Business. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, exceptionally organized, and strong in PowerPoint storytelling and data synthesis.
Responsibilities Include:
Market Research & Insights
- Lead primary and secondary research on customers, industries, competitors, channels, and macro trends.
- Track global macro-economic indicators (e.g., growth cycles, inflation, interest rates, FX, energy/commodity trends) and translate implications into business-relevant insights.
- Develop Market/Competitor Dashboards and Quarterly Insight Briefs, providing clear implications and decision-ready recommendations.
Strategic Marketing & Analysis
- Work closely with the Regional Leader to identify market trends in relevant industrial segments and support the development of regional strategies.
- Partner with marketing and commercial teams to identify and accelerate strategic growth initiatives using strategic marketing tools and methodologies.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally (commercial, marketing, and enabling functions) to identify process gaps that impact commercial growth; leverage regional resources to close gaps and enable expansion.
- Seek, collect, and share best practices cross regions; identify opportunities for cross regions cooperation and support the development of regional marketing platforms (e.g., Americas / EMEA / Greater China / APAC).
Leadership Support & Coordination
- Work closely with the Global Business Leader and Global Marketing Director, including prioritization support and stakeholder coordination including global business and technology review meeting, action follow ups etc.
- Own the creation, refinement, and consolidation of executive-ready PowerPoint decks.
- Lead operational planning for the “Annual Global Electronics Awards” activities
- Global events support (BTR/global sales/marketing/ADE meeting)
Qualifications:
The following are required for the role
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Advanced skills in PowerPoint (executive storytelling, visual structure) and Excel (data handling and analysis); ability to work with large, messy datasets.
- Skills of data analysis
- Expertise on AI tools
- Strong written and verbal communication in English (additional languages are a plus).
- High ownership, confidentiality mindset, and ability to operate under tight timelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5– 8 years of experience in strategy, market research, consulting, corporate planning, or business operations (experience in industrial/chemicals/materials, electronics, or semiconductors is a plus).
- Passionate, self-motivated personality driven to succeed
- Strong strategic and result oriented thinking abilities
- Great documentation skills
- IT/software background and experience
- 3rd language (Japan/Korea preferred)
