The Red Hat Sales team is looking for an experienced Strategic Account Manager to join us in Brasilia, Brazil. In this role, you will lead sales activities for our government vertical in Brasilia with Public Sector - Federal Technology Companies.
This role mentors team members and coordinates cross-functional activities to deliver exceptional results aligned with functional goals.
You will manage sales, customer satisfaction, and global partners engagement within the assigned territory. As a Strategic Accounts Manager, you will also develop and maintain relationships with our global partners and key accounts, while working on selling Red Hat’s platform offerings and services under a partnership agreement.
Note: This role may come into contact with confidential or sensitive customer information requiring special treatment in accordance with Red Hat policies and applicable privacy laws.
What you will do:
Develop and close sustainable revenues across technologies
Grow existing business relationships and acquire new business by mastering the customer's business and needs
Mentor and provide guidance to team members to enhance performance and account outcomes.
Lead the resolution of non-routine and complex account-related issues.
Coordinate cross-functional efforts to craft and implement joint sales strategies with global partners.
Build and maintain strategic relationships with key accounts to drive business success.
Manage complex sales cycles from prospecting to closing across our entire solutions portfolio, with a focus on accurate forecasting and pipeline building.
Manage and monitor sales activities to ensure achievement of sales targets.
Facilitate the creation and alignment of account plans, ensuring structure, clarity and strategic focus.
Ensure CRM is consistently maintained across complex accounts while adhering to sales best practices.
What you will bring:
8+ years of sales experience with a demonstrated record of success in the software industry with Public Sector, preferably with Brazilian federal government-owned technology companies
Solid understanding of the complete sales cycle management from prospecting to closing
Ability to work as part of a young and dynamic team while demonstrating flexibility, initiative, and desire to make things happen
Excellent understanding of customer business and technology offering requirements
Bachelor's degree, preferably in business, marketing, or a technical discipline
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Willingness to travel up to 40%
