The Strategic Account Manager within the Oil and Gas sector, will be responsible for identifying and winning decommissioning, demolition, asbestos  and remediation opportunities across both the offshore subsea and oil and gas onshore (terminals, refineries and petrochemical sites) sectors to drive KDC Veolia's growth. This Strategic Account Manager role will lead customer relationships and develop strategic partnerships to position the company as the preferred supplier for decommissioning, demolition, asbestos, and remediation works.

What you'll be doing;

  • Lead growth opportunities with strategic customer accounts.

  • Lead the growth strategy in the Offshore and Onshore oil and gas markets.

  • Contribute to wider business strategy and collaborate with internal teams (Technical, Operational, PMO, Commercial, Financial, Legal, HR) to create integrated solutions.

  • Identify and build long-term relationships with Oil and Gas customers, leading bids to win opportunities and exceed budget targets.

  • Provide regular reporting on market insights, participate in working groups, and prepare presentations for clients and senior management.

  • Maintain Salesforce and business systems, identify and grow opportunity pipelines, and track market trends to identify new business opportunities and cross-selling potential.

  • Support contract negotiations, work with marketing on sector plans, attend industry events, and provide customers with detailed understanding of KDC Veolia capabilities.

  • Develop strategic partnerships, liaise with operations on project requirements, contribute to cross-functional teams, and ensure solutions align with Corporate Governance and Ecological Transformation goals.


 

What we're looking for;

  • Operational, technical  or sales background in oil and gas terminals, refineries and petrochemical sites and understanding of potential customers in the UK. A knowledge of oil and gas subsea decommissioning works is desirable but not essential.

  • Sales and/or key account management experience is highly desirable.

  • Proven experience influencing senior stakeholders in oil and gas with strong understanding of Health & Safety and risk management.

  • Exceptional analytical and leadership skills to identify trends, drive solutions from concept to delivery, and lead cross-functional teams.

  • Creative, solution-focused approach with high industry knowledge, commercial acumen, and ability to coach and mentor teams.
