Job Title: Strategic Account Manager

Location: Seoul, Korea

Employment Type: Full-time, regular, hybrid work arrangement

 

The job  

As a Strategic Account Manager for the Chemical industry, you will drive growth by positioning AVEVA’s industrial software portfolio to support the engineering, operations, and digital transformation initiatives of major chemical owner-operator customers. You will develop and execute structured account plans to expand pipeline and customer references. Working closely with cross-functional teams across Korea, APAC, and global organizations, you will play a key role in strengthening AVEVA’s presence within customer environments and driving recurring iACV growth.

 

Key responsibilities 

  • Develop and execute structured account plans for key Chemical industry customers

  • Identify early project opportunities to enable specification-in and pipeline creation

  • Position AVEVA solutions across Engineering, Operations, and Asset Performance domains

  • Lead complex enterprise software sales opportunities involving multiple stakeholders

  • Collaborate closely with Pre-sales, Partners, and Customer Success teams in a cross-functional environment

 

Essential requirements 

  • 10+ years of experience in industrial or enterprise software sales

  • Proven experience managing key or strategic accounts with long sales cycles

  • Understanding of chemical plant operations or industrial digitalization

  • Strong account planning and customer relationship management skills

  • Professional communication skills in both Korean and English
