Job Summary

AMN Language Services (Formerly Stratus Video) is a technology-driven company improving the way patients and medical professionals connect across all areas of health care. The Strategic Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of high‑value, complex healthcare clients. This role requires strong C‑suite presence, the ability to navigate large, matrixed organizations, and a proven track record of expanding existing accounts through strategic up‑selling and long‑term partnership development. The Strategic Account Manager serves as a trusted advisor to executive and senior‑level stakeholders, ensuring AMN Language Services’ solutions are aligned with client goals for high‑quality patient care while driving revenue growth in line with assigned quotas.

Job Responsibilities

Executive Relationship Management

  • Own and lead strategic client relationships across departments, including sustained engagement with C‑suite and senior leadership stakeholders

  • Establish trusted‑advisor status by demonstrating deep understanding of client business objectives, healthcare challenges, and operational priorities

Revenue Growth & Upselling

  • Achieve and exceed annual revenue and growth targets through expansion of existing accounts

  • Identify, develop, and execute strategic up‑sell and cross‑sell opportunities across AMN Language Services’ full solution portfolio

  • Lead contract renewals and negotiate commercial terms aligned with long‑term partnership value

Strategic Account Leadership

  • Influence key client decision points through insight‑based selling and value‑driven recommendations

  • Analyze solution performance and outcomes; proactively communicate impact, ROI, and success metrics to executive stakeholders

  • Anticipate, identify, and mitigate account risk while driving retention and client satisfaction

Consultative & Insight Selling

  • Maintain expert‑level knowledge of AMN products, services, and healthcare language‑access trends

  • Develop and deliver executive‑level “insight selling” narratives that connect solutions to client strategic priorities

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Partner internally with operations, implementation, clinical, and product teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client success

Skills

  • Strong executive presence with excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

  • Track record of growing revenue through strategic upselling within existing accounts

  • Ability to navigate complex client organizations and build multi‑department relationships

  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Highly collaborative, consultative mindset with a results‑driven approach


Qualifications

Education & Years of Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree plus 5-7 years of work experience preferred in success managing large, strategic enterprise or healthcare accounts

  • Demonstrated ability to engage, influence, and present to C‑suite and senior executive audiences

  • Prior experience in strategic account management, consulting, or complex solution sales strongly preferred

    Pay Rate

    $62,000 - $77,000 Salary

    Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
