JOB SUMMARY
The Strategic Account and Support Manager – SAMI LPD will manage the relationship with IDEXX LPD clients, distributors, drive sales growth and foster customer loyalty to IDEXX products and services of IDEXX Livestock, Poultry and Dairy (LPD). Work with distributors in the assigned territories to grow the business through performance management and ongoing guidance, coaching and training. Deliver accurate sales forecasts and achieve sales objectives. Help establish strategic sales direction while providing feedback from the market.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Focus on providing LPD test Kits, software and solutions to customer accounts, including laboratories, veterinarians corporate integrators and key commercial farms.
- Carry out all sales responsibilities to drive sales growth and foster customer loyalty.
- Acquire new business from existing customer base and new customers in the assigned territories.
- Engage customers through all sales & marketing activities in the assigned territory through business discussions and educational interactions.
- Lead distributors and internal technical supports function to handle customers’ enquiries, objections, trouble-shootings and provide technical support services
- Working alongside with Sales manager and team to improve the customers’ satisfaction
- Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
- Work with manager and team to plan, take actions and track activity progress to continuously enhance the sales productivity
- Building and maintaining IDEXX’s customer and account database within the assigned territories
- Work to support sales programs, product positioning, promotional initiatives, and sales force automation tools.
- Work with manager to develop solid relationship with distributors, key opinion Leaders (KOLs) in Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia, organizations, and leading veterinary practices to promote IDEXX products and services.
- Work closely with distributors and internal team to collect and analyze data and information in relation to the market trends, competitive landscape, customer’s needs and business opportunities in the assigned territories.
- Develop, maintain good relationships with key customers through regular meetings and co-visit plans with distributors.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
Veterinary Medicine, Major in Livestock, Swine, Poultry and/or Bovine. MBA is plus.
EXPETRIENCE, REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Demonstrated track record of outstanding sales achievement over several years in life science/health science business/products. Ideally within the veterinary industry. Animal health/feed/farm level of sales experience is definite required. Distributor and account management a definite plus.
- Knowledge of commercial integrated farming methodologies and consulting experience in LPD is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in matrix environment.
- Financial acumen, ability to assess and evaluate implications of quarterly/annual commercial goals, pricing, equipment financing and customer commercial needs.
- Good command of Microsoft Office and demonstrated written and presentation skills.
- Excellent customer service, business relationship-building skills and negotiation skills.
- Drive, initiative, and passion for business excellence.
- Fluent in English.
- Spend at least 70% of time in the field within the assigned territories and any other destinations as instructed by the manager.
- A team player.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- At the laboratories farm, veterinary clinics l throughout the SAMI especially Philippines, Vietnam and Indonesia and SA.
- Management office of key account customers and integration level.
