In this high-impact role, you’ll use a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to plan, schedule, and track maintenance activities and contract inspections - keeping operations running smoothly and efficiently. You’ll also take the lead on financial tracking, managing purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and payments with accuracy and accountability.

About This Position

  • Compile, analyze, and organize data to produce clear and accurate reports

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships; communicates during emergency situations

  • Assist with annual budget development and financial tracking

  • Process invoices and payments, ensuring services are verified before approval

  • Review and correct internal and external billing for accuracy

  • Maintain accurate records in Cartegraph and coordinates corrections with supervisors

  • Track purchase orders, manages deliveries, and reconciles P-card expenses

  • Plan and schedule preventive, predictive, and long-term maintenance activities

  • Coordinate and reprioritize daily corrective and emergency maintenance work

  • Develop and assign work orders, coordinating with teams, customers, and external partners

Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, Finance, Planning, Industrial/Engineering Technology or job-related field AND two (2) years of job-related experience

  • -OR- Six (6) years of professional job-related experience can be substituted at management discretion for the required education

  • -OR- Related professional program/ project management may substitute for the required education at management discretion

  • A valid Florida driver's license at the time of hire

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and other work-related applications

  • Experienced in Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Point, Project etc.

Subject to Passing Substance Screening:  This position is subject to passing a pre-employment substance screening.  An applicant who fails to pass a required drug screening test shall be disqualified from employment in any class for a period of five (5) years.

About Everything Else:

Starting Pay: $64,812.80/ annually, potentially more based on experience
