Join Salvos Stores and lead our Molendinar store, where every sale helps fund vital community programs supporting Australians in need. This is an opportunity to combine your retail leadership skills with meaningful purpose, while managing a dynamic team of staff and volunteers.

Reporting to the Area Manager, this is a permanent full-time opportunity based in Molendinar, QLD.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of store operations to achieve sales and surplus targets

  • Manage stock flow, pricing and visual merchandising in line with Salvos Stores standards

  • Inspire, coach and develop a team of employees and volunteers

  • Manage budgets, rosters and wage costs to ensure efficient store operations

  • Foster strong community connections with local organisations and partners

  • Create a welcoming and engaging store environment for customers, donors and volunteers

About You

You are a positive, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and enjoys motivating others to achieve great results.

You will bring:

  • Retail management experience (essential)

  • Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills (essential)

  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to engage and develop teams

  • Ability to manage budgets and operational priorities effectively

  • Experience using Workday HCM (highly regarded)

  • Alignment with The Salvation Army’s mission and values of integrity, respect, compassion, collaboration and diversity
