General Summary
The Stop Motion Animation Intern will gain valuable hands-on production experience and training by working in collaboration with our skilled professionals. Interns are supported and challenged as they benefit from renowned stop motion animation expertise. Specifically, the Stop Motion Animation Intern will work with other stop motion animators to make puppets come to life, define personality and emotion, and create visually stunning animation. 

Job Functions 

  • Work on test stages and create shots featuring various types of animated performances including walk cycles, weight shifts, object lifts, etc.
  • Perform repetitive, finely detailed animation tasks with precision for extended periods of time.
  • Assist in general organization and upkeep of the work areas. 

Qualifications 

  • Currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior in college/university, or graduated within the last 12 months, with an emphasis in animation or other relevant area of study.
  • Strong creative background with an artistic eye and sensibilities.
  • Ability to take direction and embrace change.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Capable of effectively prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Able to work both collaboratively and independently. 

Location
On-Site in Hillsboro, OR 

Salary
$20.00/hour set rate, non-negotiable
