The Opportunity:
As the Stockroom Attendant 2 in Auxiliary Facilities Services storeroom, under general supervision you will perform inventory and stockroom duties using an automated inventory system. Your responsibilities will include maintaining inventory and replenishing stocked items; receiving freight; inspecting incoming items to verify conditions and quantities received against shipping documents; returning damaged goods and stocking shelves.

This is a full time (100% FTE), permanent position. This position is overtime eligible.
Monthly Salary: $3,262 to $4,320 | Range 36 | Successful candidates are typically hired at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28
In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate’s current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.

Required Qualifications:
High school graduation or equivalent AND six months of full-time experience as a Stockroom Attendant 1 or equivalent; OR equivalent education/experience.
Must have, or be able to obtain by time of hire, a valid driver’s license and meet requirements in accordance with SPPM 7.10 and departmental driving standards.
Forklift certified or ability to obtain one within first month of employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Competent computer skills.
Experience maintaining inventory.
