Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated candidate to serve as a Stinger Missile Proposal Support Analyst, in Short Range Air Defense (SRAD), who is ready to take on a new challenge with a high degree of responsibility in a growing and evolving business environment.

You will be working with other proposal managers supporting the development of proposals within the Stinger portfolio to meet or exceed metrics and performance benchmarks to maximize the effective use of investment dollars.  This role reports to the Stinger Missile Proposal Manager managing all Stinger Missile proposals.

This position is an onsite role, located in Tucson, AZ

What You Will Do

  • Supporting the end-to-end proposal development process by assisting with planning, scheduling, and coordinating required resources
  • Updating proposal status, tracking required inputs, assisting with price analysis, helping resolve issues and preparing materials for Submit Gates
  • Reviewing Request for Proposals (RFPs) and other solicitation documents to help develop proposal plans and ensure compliance with customer requirements
  • Building effective working relationships with internal functional organizations (typically organized into integrated product teams (IPTs) and/or cross product teams (CPTs)) including but not limited to Engineering, Contracts, Finance, Procurement/Supply Chain, Manufacturing/Operations, Quality Management, Logistics, Data Management (CDRL support), Estimating and Pricing, and administrative functions to support proposal activities
  • Assisting in the development and review of proposal content, to ensure consistency accuracy, and alignment with customer needs and organizational goals
  • Support TINA compliance sweeps and contribute to the development of compliant proposals
  • Maintain key metrics which will act as critical process indicators for the programs and organization to track designated proposal indicators
  • Helping ensure on-time delivery of proposal efforts by monitoring progress, providing turn-around metrics, identifying improvement opportunities, and supporting actions that promote quality, schedule, and cost adherence.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR an Advanced degree and minimum 3 years of experience is required
  • Ability to assist in planning, organizing, and coordinating the proposal development process from start to finish, helping ensure timely and high-quality submissions
  • Experience balancing prioritization, cost, and schedule constraints within a proposal effort
  • Experience in US or FMS and Proposal Development (e.g., TINA compliance, Offset/Industrial Participation, Government Requests for Information (RFIs), etc.)

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience in both DOD/FMS and DCS Proposals
  • Experience developing submittal gate review packages
  • Prior experience supporting development of proposals for production programs, preferably in the aerospace and defense industry
  • Knowledge of pricing strategies and the ability to coordinate with the finance team to present competitive and realistic pricing in proposals.
  • Understanding of the proposal process, financial metrics, estimate of cost (EAC’s), and DFAR compliance

  • Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
