Serve on a programmatic stewardship team to support and deliver strategic initiatives for scholarship programs.
Coordinate centralized endowment stewardship for select scholarship programs including accurate donor data management, recipient thank you letter solicitation, letter review and packet delivery.
Assist with CSU support and individual donor recognition deliverable needs including research, strategic writing and design recommendations for reports, recognition certificates, special one-off events, and individual touchpoints for donors in TG and VPD portfolio.
Partner with OSFA and scholarship program directors to ensure that donor recognition activities and other stewardship initiatives are planned and executed efficiently and follow university and federal regulations.
Serve as Donor Relations team lead collaborator with Marketing and Communications department on annual scholarship stewardship event strategy and execution.
Assist with the planning, production and execution of all event components - venue, finance, materials, data, volunteers, etc. - for scholarship donor appreciation events.
Produce written copy utilized in video scripts and emails.
Coordinate with team members for reviews and approvals of stewardship pieces.
Collaborate with students and team members for successful execution of general and personalized videos and handwritten thank you messages.
Deliver meaningful and timely stewardship to all scholarship donors.
Evaluate and advise leadership on opportunities to communicate and improve program impact.
Coordinate first-time donor program, loyal donor program, and stewardship for select campaigns in partnership with Annual Giving and Marketing and Communications departments.
Partner with Marketing and Communications and Texas Development leadership to implement initiatives aimed at inspiring a spirit of philanthropy and fostering donor engagement from the first gift onward.
Manage the full cycle of loyal donor programs by collaborating with the Marketing and Communications team and develop leadership on program deliverables.
Manage and run the First Time Donor Program by collaborating with the Marketing and Communications team and development leadership on program deliverables.
Manage the stewardship deliverables for the Tower Project annual giving campaigns.
Partner with Annual Giving to provide stewardship support for select campaigns line 40 for Forty.
Coordinate with the Donor Relations Data Team to define data needs, request reports, clean data, enroll donors, analyze survey data and direct feedback.
Analyze data to identify trends, areas for improvement and opportunities to enhance the donor experience, and to inform program decisions.
Support the strategic initiatives for the Donor Relations team.
Support overall Donor Relations team impact with active engagement on miscellaneous task and project needs that develop, as well as the identification and communication of opportunities to enhance the donor experience, and to inform program decisions.
Other related functions and duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree.
At least one year of experience in development work or in a related field.
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize, organize, and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong organization skills with an emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Experience working with vendors and event planning.
Self-starter that works well as part of a team.
High degree of proficiency in databases and computer applications including Excel, Adobe Acrobat, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word.
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
More than three years of experience in development work or related field.
Demonstrated experience in problem-solving and critical thinking.
Experience with UT databases, such as VIP.
Experience composing, writing, and editing correspondence.
Experience with commercial printing/production processes.
Experience with digital marketing.
Experience utilizing different digital stewardship platforms like ThankView.
$60,000+ depending on experience and qualifications
Work in standard office conditions, in a shared office environment, with repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation.
Must be eligible to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer without sponsorship.
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM on-site work is the standard expectation for this position.
May require additional hours during peak periods and special events.
