This position is a P1 level 

What will you be doing? 

  • Posting in the ERP the transactions related to the deployment of new assets and the scrapping of parts for the Costa Rica market.

  • Verify the integrity of the Fixed Assets modules versus the General Accounting for the Costa Rica market.

  • Local and corporate depreciation run.

  • Provide support and information for internal and external audits.

  • Convert Fixed Asset information from USD to CRC and upload it into Softland.

  • Execute the annual fixed asset physical inventory.

  • Support other financial requests as needed.

What will you need to be successful? 

Required Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business with an emphasis in Accounting required.

Experience:

  • 3–4 years of experience in accounting roles.

  • Experience with fixed asset processes.

  • Demonstrated experience with Free Trade Zone Regime compliance.

Languages:

  • Proficiency in English.

Knowledge:

  • Intermediate Excel skills.

Competences:

  • High customer orientation.

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities for working with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications:

  • Active CPI or CPA accreditation.

Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of SAP and Softland.
