Job Responsibilities
Operational Planning & Readiness: Develop station operating procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and service plans (including passenger flows and ticketing).
Safety & Security: Implement Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policies, design crowd control plans, and ensure compliance with railway safety regulations.
Infrastructure & Maintenance: Oversee the functionality of station equipment (signalling, passenger info systems, gates) and manage facility maintenance, including regular inspections.
Staff Management: Train, deploy, and supervise station staff to maintain service excellence.
Incident Management: Lead the response to service disruptions, accidents, or emergencies, including coordinating with external agencies.
Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary contact for station operations, managing interactions between management, contractors, and authorities.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: A minimum of 5–10 years of experience in railway operations, specifically in managing station operations or passenger services.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Transport, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is often preferred.
Knowledge: Deep understanding of railway safety regulations (e.g., ROGS, RM3), station facilities, and emergency protocols.
Skills: Strong leadership, analytical skills, and proficiency in using IT systems for station management
