At UnitingCare we are leaders in crisis response, the protection of vulnerable people and children, financial resilience and family wellbeing. Our FaDS (Family and Disability Services) team work passionately across Queensland to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
We’re looking for someone who wants to make the world a little better through small moments that leave big impacts — by building meaningful relationships and making a difference in the lives of people experiencing domestic and family violence and housing instability.
Our Homelessness division is currently inviting applications for the position of Statewide Manager – Homelessness.
Your part in our UnitingCare's team
The Statewide Manager – Homelessness will lead our statewide homelessness program, working with a multi-disciplinary workforce across Brisbane, Townsville and additional service locations throughout Queensland.
The program includes a mix of site-based and outreach service delivery, delivered by paid staff and supported by a statewide leadership structure.
This role provides program leadership for Homelessness—driving practice consistency, strengthening service quality and safety, building new service opportunities, establishing an evidence base, and positioning services to be renowned in their field.
We are seeking a senior leader with strong strategic and service growth capability who will work as part of the leadership team to deliver strategy and major projects and programs of work.
The role will also contribute to a culture that is client-centred, trauma-informed and innovative to meet current and future demand for statewide homelessness services.
As this role has a flexible primary location and requires travel to metropolitan and regional locations, applicants from Regional Queensland and South East Queensland are encouraged to apply.
