JOB DESCRIPTION
You will be working in the State Street Investment Management IT Architecture Database Engineering Group. Our mission is to get up to speed on supporting the State Street IM infrastructure and database engineering needs from a project management perspective: POC’s, migration, transformation, and builds to support business critical applications at an enterprise level. This job offers a great opportunity for you to take part in building up a competency center for coordinating between many technical teams to deliver critical projects. You will be a part of a diverse team of co-ops, contractors and employees working on creative solutions with application teams. Further, you will be given the chance to learn in a dynamic and welcoming environment within a competitive, global industry.
YOUR PRIMARY JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate multiple projects as an intern project coordinator with scrum tool
- Maintain team SharePoint site, wiki, and run book
- Coding opportunities with data pipeline and cloud services for proof of concept
- Create and maintain project plans, architectural diagrams, and workflows
- Document and post meeting minutes and agendas
- Create test plans, document results, and write metrics/status reports
- Create presentations
MINIMUM JOB SPECIFICATIONS
- Currently Enrolled in Bachelors in Computer Science, IT or related field
- Strong Documentation Skills
- Strong Excel skills
- Familiarity with MS Project, MS Visio, Tableau
- Good programming/scripting skills (python, shell, java)
- Solid attention to detail, results oriented, analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work alone and in a team
- Eager to learn and research unfamiliar topics
- Sense of humor and love of food are not necessary, but are certainly welcome
