Serves as the primary contact supporting individuals with Developmental Disabilities, Mental Health or Substance Abuse Issues for the START Program (Systematic, Therapeutic, Assessment, Resource, and Treatment) to provide community based intervention and prevention services to individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral health care needs. The program relies on integrated care and treatment with collaboration among all team members. The services in the START Program include collaborative contacts, after hour contacts, emergency team meetings, planned respite and emergency respite.

We are Looking for a Therapeutic In-Home Coach to Join our Team for our START Program!!!!!

Payrate: $20.00

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services with 2 years experience with population

Responsibilities:

• Must be self-motivated, efficient with time

• Coaches work with families and individuals to work on identified needs/skills to assist with

• strategies to improve coping mechanisms

• Coaches help to develop strategies and tools to assist others with improving overall well being.

Pre-employment screening:

• Complete criminal background
• Name checked in the registries. (OIG exclusions database, Child Abuse Registry, and Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities)
• Drug testing
• Education verification and other credentialing based on position requirements.
• Proof of employment history or references (if required)
• Positions that require driving Proof of driver's license, driver's insurance, and vehicle, IF required for providing transportation for individuals.
