Une offre de stage intitulée « Stage 2026 en étude de faisabilité d'une poutre ventrale "one shot" utilisant un process de fabrication innovant F/H » vient de s'ouvrir au sein de Airbus Operations sur son site de Saint Martin, Toulouse. Vous rejoindrez le département “NFF / NCF structure Upskilling & NextGen” en charge de : 

• Dessiner des concepts structuraux répondant aux besoins (coût, qualité) des avions futurs, mais aussi des avions en production série

• Calculer ces concepts / solutions - assurer leur totale sécurité

• Supporter les départements R&Ts dans le développement des nouvelles technologies et nouveaux fuselages (architectures)

• Capitaliser le savoir

Votre stage consistera à: 

• Évaluer le potentiel de la technologie sélectionnée - ici le composite SQRTM pour une application structure fuselage (multi-critères) - ici la poutre ventral

• Réaliser un concept dessin, le calculer, éditer le bilan financier de la solution, avec application sur un avion série

• Faire des études de sensibilité pour optimiser la solution (Masse et Coût)

Idéalement, ce stage d’une durée de 6 mois commencera en Janvier 2025 (la période est communiquée à titre indicatif, et pourra être revue). 

Tâches et responsabilités : 

Votre tuteur/tutrice vous aidera à identifier vos objectifs professionnels et vous accompagnera dans le développement de vos compétences. 

Ce stage vous permettra notamment de développer les compétences suivantes : 

• Dessin de détail (Outils et Méthodes)

• Calcul de structure (composite / métallique / hybride) 

• Modélisation numérique (éléments finis)

• Gestion des partenaires 

• Gestion de projet

• Esprit entrepreneurial

• Connaissance des structures aeronautiques

Votre carte d’embarquement : 

Vous préparez actuellement un diplôme de niveau Bac +5 (ou équivalent) dans le domaine de l’ingénieurerie aeronautique ou mécanique générale ou une discipline apparentée? Vous possédez les compétences suivantes : 

Compétences techniques :

• Matériaux et procédés de fabrication (basique), incluant le composite

• Calcul de résistance des matériaux

• Simulation numérique

• Dessin sous CATIA V5

Soft skills :

• Autonome et curieux

• Jugement d’ingénieur

Compétences linguistiques attendues : 

• Anglais  : intermédiaire 

• Français  : intermédiaire

We offer an internship titled : « Internship 2025 - Feasibility study of an elastomer-based sealing component for the wing/central wing box junction F/M »   at Airbus Operations in Toulouse, Saint Martin 

You will join the "NFF & NCF Structure Upskilling and NextGen" department in charge of:

• Design future structural fuselage concept, answering the future or legacy aircraft needs (Cost, Quality, Safety)

• Calculate these concepts / solutions - ensure their total safety

• Analyze mechanical performance (stress analyses) - ensure total safety 

• Support (R&T) Department with our design and stress skills

• Capitalize knowledge and perform / organize upskilling within design office structure team

Your internship will consist in : 

• Explore R&T Catalog with the objective of:

  • Evaluate potentiality versus fuselage application (cost saving, mechanical characteristics)

  • ​Realize 1 design concept and its associated strength analysis, base on one fuselage application case. Perform trades for optimisation

  • Update business case with multi-functional team (Manufacturing, Engineering, Material & Processes)

Ideally, this is a 6 months internship and it should start in January 2025 (date subject to flexibility).

Main tasks and activities :

Your tutor will support you identify your professional objectives and develop your skills. This internship will allow you to develop the following skills: 

• Detailed design, Method and Tools

• Structural analyses (Composite, Metallic, Hybrid)

• Numerical simulation (Finite elements)

• Stakeholder management

• Project management

• Entrepreneurial thinking

• Aeronautical knowledge

Your Boarding Pass : 

You are preparing a diploma level Bac+5 in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent), and you will develop the following competences: 

Technical skills :

• Material & Processes

• Material Strength

• Numerical simulation

• Catia V5 knowledge

Soft skills :

• Curious and autonomous

• Engineering Judgment

Language skills : 

• French  : intermediate 

• English  : intermediate
