Description:

Position Purpose

At Saint Francis Hospital, Staffing / Scheduling Coordinator will be performing a wide range of clerical and administrative duties specific to the needs of Nursing Managers.

What you will do:

  • Develops and posts schedules while assisting with the staffing of the Nursing Department.

  • Maintains accurate timekeeping records and assists with payroll responsibilities in Kronos.   

  • Ensures accurate licensure information for temporary staff (travelers and pool RN's) in all assigned departments

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.   Business school or Associate Degree in Business preferred.

  • Certification: Certification as a Healthcare Unit Coordinator (HUC) preferred.

  • Experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred.

  • Experience in hospital scheduling or equivalent experience preferred.

  • Ability to pass drug screening and background checks.
