ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accurately maintains departmental records and statistical reports including Time and Attendance timekeeper responsibilities.
  • Answers the telephone promptly and politely, screens calls, and uses resources to refer calls properly.
  • Assumes responsibility for decision making regarding staffing changes and personnel floating while working effectively in an environment that demands emotional stability, mature judgment, and flexibility. Remains aware of current situations and can identify, resolve, and/or communicate conflicts to the supervisor.
  • Displays professional commitment and supports the unit team by promoting unity.
  • Responsible for prompt coordination of the Tele-Tracking suite of products.
  • Responsible for understanding and participating in the organization wide.
  • Reviews weekly staffing projections and maintains schedules and staffing changes to adequately plan for manpower utilization and appropriate scheduling. Arranges for manpower resources beyond those already scheduled as needed.

Pay Transparency

The hourly rate range for this position is $21.71 - $32.57. POSITION SUMMARY

The staffing coordinator assists in assuring the provision of adequate staffing resources to the nursing units, facilitates the acuity staffing system, and maintains various records and statistics involved with the overall nursing staffing effort. Demonstrates investment in the overall forward movement of the unit and the organization. Applies good interpersonal and communication process utilizing verbal and non-verbal skills to achieve organizational service goals of customer satisfaction and a positive work environment.
